Handout: Strategies of "Good Practice" for Addiction Support - Reaching & Providing for Refugees

PREPARE - Subproject 1

This handout is the result of sub-project 1 "Assessment of substance use and principles of good practice in help services" of the PREPARE research network funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The strategies of "good practice" for reaching and caring for refugees in addiction services were identified through a three-stage, consensus-oriented Delphi process. The process involved 22 experts from addiction services, refugee services, academia, and other related fields of work.This handout includes 39 strategies in nine supercategories. These are:
