PraeWi Information video "getting active"

PraeWi Інформаційний ролик "Станьте активними"

Refugees represent a vulnerable and structurally disadvantaged population group for risky and dependent forms of substance use due to their experiences in their country of origin and during their flight as well as various social, psychological and socio-cultural stressors in their country of arrival. In order to meet these challenges, the PraeWi research and development project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, addresses the living situation of refugees and helps to create health-promoting living environments.

An evidence-based ‘multi-component prevention concept’ was developed in a participatory manner together with refugees and professionals from various areas of addiction prevention, refugee support and addiction support. You can find more information about the PraeWi project at: https://www.praewi.de/

Living in a shared accommodation centre brings with it various challenges for the residents. To feel better, some people take illegal drugs or drink alcohol. However, this can be dangerous. In addition to health risks, it can lead to these people developing an addiction. Here you will find various information videos on the topics of health, addiction and offers of help. Perhaps you have someone in your family or circle of friends who you can support with information on these topics, or it may be helpful for you personally.

This video is also available in German, English, Arabic, Farsi, FrenchRussian and Turkish.
