The brochure is aimed directly at affected persons of both sexes. When a person in a partnership has an alcohol problem, the situation is often severely stressful for the partner. Gender-specific aspects have an influence on the experience and on coping strategies. This brochure supplements universally applicable advice with gender-specific recommendations. It offers two "equal" approaches: from one side it addresses female partners, from the other side female partners. The middle section addresses the situation of children.
