Instrument: Fast Alcohol Screening Test (FAST)

Alcohol harm assessment tool

FAST is an instrument designed to assess the hazardousness of alcohol use (past 12 months). It consists of a subset of questions from the complete Alcohol Use Disorders Inventory Test (AUDIT). FAST was developed for use in emergency departments but can be used in a variety of health care and social service settings.
