The short film was developed as part of a model project "Prevention and early intervention of gambling addiction for people with a migration background" funded by the BZgA and scientifically evaluated by the University of Bremen.
It deals with the topic of gambling. It promotes not betting on sports but playing sports oneself.
Gambling is about betting money on something and hoping for a win, but one that depends on chance. Sports betting also counts as gambling, because the outcome depends on chance - even if you know the team and sport well. Gambling can be dangerous! You can quickly lose a lot of money and develop problems.
The YouTube channel GlueXtreffer of the BZgA-funded model project contains further interesting materials in German: short videos of a refugee and a digital children's book on the topic of gambling.
